This policy reflects the nature of pre-owned luxury goods and is designed to protect authenticity, condition, and value, while respecting applicable mandatory consumer law. Nothing in this policy affects your statutory rights.

1) Key principle: C Lux security tag

  1. All shipped items include a C Lux security tag.
  2. If the security tag is removed, cut, damaged, or tampered with, the item is not eligible for a change-of-mind return.
  3. Removing the tag is considered handling beyond what is necessary to inspect the goods and may justify a reduction of the refund (up to the full value) where permitted by mandatory law.
  4. This does not affect your rights where goods are faulty or not as described.

2) Change-of-mind withdrawals (consumers, where applicable)

  1. Where applicable, consumers purchasing at a distance may notify withdrawal within 14 days from delivery.
  2. After notifying withdrawal, the consumer must return the goods within 14 days, unless mandatory law provides otherwise.

3) How to request a return

Include:

  • Customer name
  • Quote/order reference
  • Reason for return
  • Confirmation that the C Lux security tag is intact and attached

4) Return shipping

  1. Return shipping costs are paid by the customer (unless mandatory law requires otherwise).
  2. Returns must be sent:
    • via a tracked service,
    • fully insured for the declared value, and
    • securely packaged.
  3. C Lux cannot be responsible for loss or damage during return transit.

5) Inspection and acceptance

  1. All returns are inspected on arrival.
  2. A return may be refused and sent back if:
    • the security tag is missing/damaged,
    • the item shows signs of use beyond reasonable inspection, or
    • any included accessories/documents are missing.

6) Refunds

  1. Approved refunds are processed within [X] business days after inspection.
  2. Refunds are issued to the original payment method:
    • PayPal, or
    • MB Way (where used).
